By Car
- from Austria and Hungary through Zagreb or from Italy through Rijeka first to Split. From Split you have to take car ferry to Stari Grad and then by modern road to Hvar .
- from Makarska to Drvenik. From Drvenik by ferry to Sucuraj and then by road to Hvar.

By Bus
- from all big cities first to Split, than either by hydrogliser or ferry* directly to Hvar, or first by car ferry to Stari Grad harbour and then by bus to Hvar.

|
By Train
- from Zagreb to Split and then the same as by bus.
|
|
By Plain
- to Split Airport and then by boat to Hvar (by car ferry to Stari Grad harbour or by hydrogliser or ferry* directly to Hvar).
